Debbie Kirkland is the Broker and Founder of First Story Real Estate Company which opened after many years of planning and designing in 2014.  Debbie has been a Top Producing Realtor within the Tallahassee area since entering the profession in 2002. Debbie has devoted much of her career to leadership within the profession and real estate industry including service as holding the office of President of the Tallahassee Board of Realtors in 2012 and District Vice-President of the Florida Realtors in 2014. Debbie service on a multitude of committees, and committee Chairs at both State and local levels and is known for her leadership and innovation in the real estate industry across the Country. Debbie Remains a Top 5% Producer in her area, while managing and starting a brokerage in 2014.

Debbie utilizes the assistance of newer agents whom she mentors, as well as several key experienced agents within First Story Real Estate to help provide even more services and accessibility to her customers.

Debbie has assembled and personally oversees a team of professionals that work with her on many of her transactions. Each person on her team has specific strengths that enable Debbie to coordinate every detail of each transaction with personal attention.

Debbie is a single-mom to two beautiful young women, Jillian who works as a Realtor at First Story, and Carly who is a public relations and marketing administrator in Rockport, Texas for a National PR Firm. 

Debbie's hobbies are photography, painting, technology, and, yes,.. she owns a Harley Davidson and has a love of traveling throughout the US.
