Railroad Square
Hosting more than 80 studios, galleries and small shops, Railroad Square is the creative haven of many Tallahassee artists and other small businesses. Railroad Square operates at its own quaint pace most of the month and then puts on the city's most exciting "First Friday Gallery Hop" on the first Friday of each month. Visit Railroad Square and you'll find a thriving art park filled with galleries, working studios, shops and the only café in town that is built out of a real railroad caboose.

Springtime Tallahassee
Tallahassee has a tradition in the Springtime Tallahassee Parade! 2010 marks the 42nd Annual event on March 27th! A Parade, vendors, food, entertainment stages, arts, craft and many traditional meet-ups with friends and family take place downtown along North Monroe street. Arrive early, pick your parade watching spot and visit the Park Avenue and Adams street area for events and activities! This is the Southeast's largest event and voted one of the Top 20 events in the Southeast!
Watch for the Tallahassee Board of Realtors float in the event as well!!

FSU Circus

We are one of only two collegiate circuses in the United States. A unique tradition on the campus of The Florida State University since 1947, the Circus is a year-round program in which FSU students can participate.
Join the FSU Circus as they celebrate 60 years of flips, tricks, tradition and excitement under the Big Top on Florida State University's campus. Performances feature a number of aerial and stage presentations and are sure to be a hit for all ages.

Florida Hiking Trials Month: Sopchoppy River Hike


Red Hills Horse Trials  March 5-7, 2010.  This three day event will feature horses over three phases: Dressage, Cross-Country, and Stadium Jumping. The 120 acre cross country course was originally designed by Hugh Lochore of Scotland, and is owned by Tallahassee's own Colin Phipps who is a horse enthusiast. The event attracts international and national championship horsemen and amazing champion-bloodline thoroughbreds. It is open to the public and is an amazing event!

Challenger Learning Center. for Children, Adults. Educational and Hands-On Facility! Planetarium, Space Mission Simulator. Math Science and Technology outreach center. Sharks Premier. IMAX film Sharks follows the most advanced predators on Earth and recreates the actual sensations divers experience when they come face-to-face with these animals.

Charity Benefits:

Jazz For Justice  May 16, 2010, 4 - 7pm  at Chez Pierre Restaurant. Legal Services of North Florida provides legal assistance for low-income, the elderly and domestic violence victims or those needing non-criminal assistance. This event helps fund these very important services.  if you enjoy jazz and fellowship,..Join us for a fantastic time held for a wonderful community cause!
